The Ice Worm is a highly unique leviathan found in the arctic spires. Can be avoided by sticking to the walls and moving slowly, make sure you are either on the top or the bottom depending on where the leviathan is. It deals 20-35 damage to the Seatruck and 33-42 to the Prawn Suit.Īvoid at all costs. It has 5000 health and deals 75 damage to the player, if the player has less than 75 health it will play an animation of the player being swallowed whole.

It is seen snaking around crystal formations and sometimes sticking to the floor or ceiling of the cavern much like a snake, probably to be stealthy. The Shadow Leviathan usually moves around at relatively the same depth, it is never seen actually eating prey which suggests it doesnt require much food and moves very slowly. It has a glowing blue mouth surrounded by mandibles which it uses to grasp it’s prey, it will usually spit/drool blue saliva on it’s prey but it is unknown why. It may also be a filter feeder but this is highly unlikely. It is unknown what these creatures feed on but it is presumably the Rock punchers and school of fish found in the region, as it has a mouth on the bottom side of it’s body. Two can be found in each respective biome. The Shadow Leviathan is a large leviathan found in the Crystal Caverns and Fabricator Caverns, Cannot be avoided if you are in the void. It deals slightly less damage than the regular chelicerate and has no debugid.Īvoid. The Void Chelicerate is pretty much the same as the regular one but it is 65 meters long and can be found in the void, after the player spends 30 seconds in the void one will spawn, this will continue once 3 Void Chelicerates have spawned or the player has left the void. READ: Subnautica: Below Zero 100% Achievement Guide It is approximately 40 meters long.Īvoid. It deals 15-30 damage to the Seatruck and 21-33 to the Prawn Suit. It has 5000 health and deals 75 damage to the player, if the player has less health than this it will play an animation of the player being swallowed whole. It can be seen eating prey fish and Cryptosuchuses and Brute sharks. It will most likely attack the player if it spots it but only if the player gets fairly close to it. The chelicerate will usually wander no further than 200m from its original spawn and will stay in it’s respective biome and very rarely wander near the border of it. It is the first carnivorous leviathan the player will encounter. It has long spikes along its spine and translucent webs between each spine and on its fins. It has four distinctive mandibles that it can move around quite freely and that it uses to trap prey before swallowing it whole.

The chelicerate is a large carnivorous crustacean-like leviathan, There is one in the purple vents, one in the east arctic, and two in the tree spires. Here we’ll be covering the carnivorous leviathans. It is approximately 110 meters in height.
SUBNAUTICA BELOW ZERO ALL LEVIATHANS CRACK
It is located above a sort of crack in the ground in which resources can be found, one of the Ventgardens is located above an alien artifact. It is unknown wether these massive creatures can move or not. It can be seen allowing the steam from the geothermal vents enter its body, and it can also be seen ejecting excess fluid through a opening/mouth on the top of it’s body. The Ventgarden doesn’t have much behaviour as it is unmoving and stays above a geothermal vent. It has an ecosystem in it like the juvenile and It can be entered by the player and can have fauna inside of it (Such as brute sharks and small edible prey fish). The Ventgarden is a massive unmoving leviathan which is also the largest leviathan in Subnautica: Below zero. It will move around the biome in a random pattern and will very often fluctuate depths as it kinda “hops around” to swim.ĭespite most leviathans in the Subnautica series, the Juvenile ventgarden is unkillable. The Ventgarden juvenile is a medium-sized leviathan that gets its nutrients from geothermal vents and has a garden inside of it (as the name suggests). It has 10000 Health making it the creature with the most health in Subnautica: Below zero. It will usually stick to an approximate depth and move around that area before switching depths. It has glowing “ears”/antennae on it’s head. It is the first herbivorous leviathan the player will encounter. It is not agressive towards the player and can be interacted with. The Glow whale is a large filter-feeder that can be found in the Lilypads biome and the east arctic. Here we’ll talk about the herbivorous leviathans.
